Apy.Vision is a Web3-DeFi investment tracking platform, designed to help investors monitor the health of their portfolios, including their positions, yields, and exchange rates. The platform provides essential insights, enabling users to make informed decisions about their investments.

02. Challenge

Designing for DeFi investors presents unique challenges because they are highly knowledgeable about blockchain technology and expect advanced, detailed insights.
Key challenges included:
- Technical Complexity: Layer 1 and Layer 2 protocols must be separated due to data synchronization issues.
- Wallet Connectivity & Data Display: When a user connects a wallet, it is technically difficult to aggregate all data seamlessly.
- Information Grouping: Poor structuring could lead to misinterpretations, such as users mistakenly believing something is wrong with their investments. Ensuring clarity was crucial.

03. Design Process

Since Apy.Vision already had a V1 version, my first step was conducting a comprehensive feedback collection through user surveys and interviews.
Key Steps:
- Identifying Growth Opportunities – Analyzed existing user pain points and areas for improvement.
- Designing New Layout Versions – Created multiple layout concepts to enhance usability.
- A/B Testing – Conducted A/B tests to determine the most effective design solutions.

04. Results

Implemented a refined information architecture, ensuring clear and logical grouping of data. Successfully addressed the wallet connectivity challenge, providing users with accurate and organized investment data. Positive user feedback and measurable increases in platform engagement confirmed the improvements.
